johnny and i made yet another cross-country trek on wednesday
after a few whirlwind moving/wedding/stomach flu/honeymoon filled weeks.
stocked full of snacks for the road
and the suv nearly packed to the ceiling,
we hugged our families with teary eyes and set off.
i was definitely struck with the gravity
of living far away from my dear ones a few days before we left
and it's not without a little fear and nervousness that
we set off for this new life together.
it's most surely not in our hands right now . . .
only God knows where we are headed together in this new life.

starburst jellybeans and honey mustard pretzels
are definitely a travel snack must . . .
we devoured them!
16 hours later, we were welcomed home by a package from UPS-
a popsicle maker gift from johnny's aunt, uncle and cousins!
let me tell you,
that made this little traveller crazy happy to be home.
this was my third drive between TN and NH in one month
and fourth since last september.
i like a good road trip, don't get me wrong, but i told mr. wonderful
that i think i would like a plane to be involved in our next
travel arrangements.
