this last year in nashville has been wonderful, but how we've longed to be close to our loved ones. nashville is certainly a place we will always love and visit whenever we need a good dose of southern hospitality. our first year of marriage was certainly adventurous as we discovered this city together . . . i know i'll always look back on this chapter of life with fond memories. and i know there are certain things i will miss- not snow shoveling, the coffee shops, working across the street from whole foods, the endless supply of neat art shops and inspiration . . .
all that said, i am giddy with excitement about living in new england again. the northeast is home to us. i'm thrilled that we'll have the ability to see our families whenever we want, to see the ocean every weekend of the summer {i couldn't have felt more out of place in a landlocked state this last year}, the quick drive to the best city in the country- BOSTON, resurrecting shopping and long walks with my dearest girl friends, and being around to welcome our newest niece into the world this spring! and that's just what is at the top of my head.
now it's time to pack up, start the job hunt and get ready to leap into a new year in a new home. yet another excited {and sort of scary!} adventure together!
